The Examination Boards support the Deans of Studies in coordinating the degree courses and examinations (see the examination regulations for precise details). The members of the Examination Boards are appointed by the Faculty Council and re-elected every 2 years according to the Constitution of LUH.
The two faculty Examination Boards are responsible for organising the examinations and for other tasks assigned to them by the examination regulations. They deal with the recognition of modules for credit, the processing of appeals, the hearing process, applications for exceptions to examination dates and admission requirements, and applications for an extension to the examination duration. The Examination Boards work in close co-operation with the Examination Office (APA).
