The Faculty Information Officer (FIO) represents the faculty’s interests with regard to information technology (IT) issues. Each university faculty has an FIO. The FIO spokesperson elected at the FIO Assembly brings the concerns of the faculties to the Advisory Council for Information Technology (BIT) and regularly discusses and agrees issues with the representatives of the IT service providers (LUIS, IuK, TIB and SAP Competence Centre (CCC)) and the IT service users (students and administration).
